When you use FratDoor, we may collect the following information:
- Account information: Fraternity/sorority name, chapter name, university, president name, email, and phone number provided during signup.
- Check-in data: Student names and student ID numbers scanned or swiped at events.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and device/browser information.
- Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the FratDoor platform.
- To manage guest lists, blacklists, and check-in verification.
- To generate attendance analytics and reports for your chapter.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To communicate with you about your account and service updates.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Your IFC/governing council: If your chapter is part of an IFC using FratDoor, aggregate event data and blacklist information may be visible to IFC administrators as configured by your council.
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Heroku (hosting), Firebase (database) — only as necessary to operate the platform.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect safety.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication tokens, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
Check-in logs and event data are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation. You may request data deletion by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing me@grahamzemel.com.
7. Cookies & Analytics
We use minimal cookies for authentication and session management. We may use anonymized analytics to understand usage patterns and improve the product.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of FratDoor after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
